(SAN FRANCISCO, April 28, 2015) – Rising adult star Daisy Ducati will join fellow cast members Nina Hartley, India Summer, Dylan Ryan and others at the benefit screening of Marriage 2.0 in San Francisco, May 2nd. A percentage of the world theatrical premiere’s proceeds will go to two local sexuality nonprofits, the Center for Sex and Culture, and St. James Infirmary, which has provided healthcare and advocacy for adult performers and other sex workers for 15 years.
Marriage 2.0 is a groundbreaking new film produced by Adam & Eve that follows a couple (India Summer and Ryan Driller) on their search for personal freedom, as well as emotional and sexual bliss within the context of an honest and committed modern relationship. Ducati’s steamy scene with Beretta James is soft, sensual and absolutely gorgeous. Writer/producer Magnus Sullivan calls the captivating Daisy his “modern Cleopatra” and says she was the ideal candidate for “a role that required timeless beauty and modern elegance.”
A highlight of the independent film’s premiere will be a titillating contest between the two nonprofits. At the screening’s Eventbrite page, a donation can be made to either organization, with or without ticket purchase. The director of charity that receives the highest amount will get to spank their counterpart onstage at the event.
“There will be no losers in this competition since both nonprofits are good friends and happy to share the wealth and the spanks,” said Center for Sex and Culture founder Carol Queen.
“St. James Infirmary and the Center for Sex and Culture are both incredible community resources who provide crucial services, helping lots of people,” said Ducati. “It’s important to give back to organizations that provide so much for us. I also can’t wait to see who gets spanked on the red carpet!”
The Marriage 2.0 event starts at 7 p.m. on May 2 at the Victoria Theatre, 2961 16th St. The film screens at 8:30 p.m., and a question-and-answer session moderated by Queen will follow, featuring the stars, sex educator Chris Ryan, director Paul Deeb and writer/producer Sullivan.
General admission tickets cost $15 and are available to purchase through EventBrite.com. VIP tickets are $40.
